PHP/Dreamweaver newbie question

I am trying to set up Apache/MySQL/PHP and develop with Dreamweaver for Mac. XAMPP tells me everything is activated properly. However, in DW, I am having a problem. The Preview window shows my PHP code as a little icon that says PHP. When I press LIVE VIEW, the PHP icon vanishes and the echos do not appear. When I press LIVE CODE, the PHP code has been removed from my document. Any ideas what's not right? |
