I have been trying for months to port the freelang.net dictionaries to work on a Mac. I have tried Crossover, Wine and Wine Bottler. I want to try and find a way to either rewrite these simple dictionary programs for mac, or port it successfully.

The program consists of two parts, both in the same directory; the base program, and the foreign language wordlist.

If it is at all possible to rewrite this simple application for mac, or port it somehow, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Why not just browse it online?

As far as I can tell, it's not open source so you can't port it. Porting software requires that you have access to the code to make the necessary changes. The best you can do is use an emulation layer (such as CrossOver or Wine) or actually use Windows either through Boot Camp or through a virtualization product.
