Irssi Help?

A friend tried helping me install Irssi, a command line interface IRC program. I've installed the dev tools and I am using Fink to install the binaries for Irssi but I get an error telling me it could not install for some reason or another. Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated.

I have to say, I prefer irssi to all IRC clients. Granted, it's not for everyone, though.
Dylan, I wish I could help you (maybe I could if you post the error message), but actually I installed irssi over darwinports, instead of fink.

Hey guys, old news but I figured it out. I needed to install GLI binaries or something of that sort. Thanks for all the help.
