terminal compiling help

please help. trying to compile ffmpeg did the configure and make, and now when i make install, i get this error

Mac Specs: 21in iMac core2 Duo- 13in macbook - 10.9 on both

2 things:
git doesn't come with OS X
it should have been "sudo make install" without the quotes
Any reason why you can't just download the OS X binary?
Download ffmpegX for Mac - DivX/MPEG-1/MPEG-2 encoder and more. MacUpdate Mac Video Software Downloads
Looks like you might be trying to compile x86 source code.

Or, if you have the need to compile it from source, use something like MacPorts to ease the process for you.
