if you need a visual editor, xcode, otherwise gcc is installed by default

hey mike, thanks for your reply. ok i downloaded the xcode. i copied and pasted my c++ source code from Microsoft Visual C++, and now how do i compile, build, execute?

sorry, i know this is a silly questions.

but, what i did was: Xcode > File > New File > C and C++ > C++ File
and I just pasted the source code into that file, saved - but cant find an option to compile/build/run

thx!!!!
