Learning Perl

I need to learn some perl for work. Can someone walk me through a simple 'hello world' type program to be run through the terminal? I am relatively new to os x. Thanks.

Ah perl.
A List of Perl on Apples Dev site. most likely wont help you with out any known info about it though.

This here is pretty much basic to end perl for those who know nothing about perl here

I found this much more helpful when I was hacking thru perl here

Have fun! its a very easy language to learn. If you need help along the way feel free to post more!
