AppleScript memory leak, then crash

Hi everybody. I'm new to AppleScript, and I'm having a serious problem with my first real script.

I work for a college radio station and I'm writing this script to run 24x7 in the background and record our DJ's shows using Audio Hijack Pro. It works fine for a few hours, sometimes a few days, but Script Editor's memory usage grows to multiple Gigabytes and it eventually crashes. Ideally, this script would run continuously for the entire semester (about 5 months).

I've uploaded the script at this link so people can see it. By the way, feel free to copy any or all of the code if it's useful to you.

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!
