I'm curious cause I have one address book entry for couples in my family. Some of them I really want to keep track of their birthdays, but I can only enter one birthday per address book entry. I'm trying to decide if I want to start making entries just for birthdays, or manually enter them in iCal.

I'd like to just keep them in the Address Book, but I have families in my Address Book. For example, I have my Godparents as one entry since they share an address, phone number, and email address. I can only put one birthday entry on the address book entry.

Do you guys enter in birthdays in iCal manually or do you use address book entries? Any way to make a 'family address card' with multiple names and birthdays that will sync to iCal properly?

i have multiple address book entries. Its probably the easiest way to do things...

I don't know about a family address card, but I don't think so.

I dunno about the easiest way. It probably takes the same amount of time to make another entry as it does to enter it manually in iCal.

I would do it that way, but it just seems silly to have an address book entry just for the birthday.

One problem with having birthdays only in Address Book is that there is no way to attach an alarm/reminder to them. If you enter them manually, set an alarm and tell iCal to make it recurring, you will have a reminder each year at your predetermined interval.
