Word 2008 question!

Hey guys,

Just bought Office 2008 and I kinda like it, but its defaults are annoying me!

I've changed the normal stuff (font, spacing, etc) but there is one thing that I don't know how to change...the default template!

Whenever I open word, the default template that opens up is the Notebook template! I have to manually click the "normal view" in the bottom left corner.

Anyone know how to change this?

Open Word, go to open a file, then go to Macintosh HD > users > "yourname" > library > application support > Microsoft > user templates > normal.dotm. Once that file is opened, set everything the way you want it every time you start a new document, then save it.

But I can't find the directory "yourname"!!!!

I'm going to try that out and hopefully things work out!
