Problems with Indesign CS3

Intel mini 1.42ghz
10.4.11
2 gig ram



no pallettes are showing up in indesign CS3, stroke, effects, character, align, etc ?
replaced ID prefs... no luck.

any suggestions other than replacing the program?

Did you go to the Window tab and see if the any of those are checked? If not you need to check them. More than likely they just got closed.

If that doesn't work trying repairing the program instead of reinstalling. Repairing can be done from the DVD I believe.

the pallettes are visible but there is nothing in them like stroke, effects, character, align.

I looked at indesign cs3 that I have and I have to click on "stroke" then a menu pops out to the left. I've attached a screenshot.

If you click on "stroke" and nothing happens a reinstall or repair of Indesign is probably your best option.
