Opening .doc?Hello,
I was sent an attachment that's an application that needs to be filled out. It's a .doc file and I first opened it with iWorks. I closed it, and went to open it tonight and I couldn't because my trail version ran out. I didn't plan on buying it... but now I need to open it.
I also use OpenOffice and it glitchs when I open it with it and I have to force quit. What should I use?
Thanks In Advance

You can open doc files using TextEdit. Other than that, there is NeoOffice, an open office port for mac.

If you have textedit in your dock, just drag that file onto it
