Quicksilver Question

I just downloaded quicksilver and after fooling around w/ it and watching some demos on youtube, I cannot get the append action to work. Any idea what may be wrong or why this wont work?

I was a bit too fast in posting this question without googling it first. Append will only work with a .txt file.
