Unhappy Deleting old mail account shouldn't delete old mail, should it?
I changed ISP so I deleted the old account from Mac Mail. Now I don't see any emails in the In Box or Sent Mail box to and from the old account. This shouldn't happen, should it? Is there any way to retrieve them?

Yes you have changed accounts with different log ins etc.

One of the things that happens with a new OS or a new ISP when it is necessary to set up new accounts. Copied my Tiger Mail 2.0 applications and Address book to an external drive when upgrading to Leopard. Still did not work lol.
