Are you running Windows on your Mac? Did you look closely when taking that fake test? Win32? OSX has no Win32 or none of those directories. It's fake. If not how is it finding Windows on my G5 iMac?

In other words, don't worry about it. That so called TEST has nothing to do with OSX.

Sites like that bother me as they are trying to get you to purchase their software in the end. Here is a screenshot if you click repair. They want your $$$.

I don't run windows on my mac, and I didn't really look at the scan thing, I just closed it.

That link is a definite scam

after all (I did this from a non admin account just in case) - it was scanning all the dll files on my G4!!!

I suspect once the scan had finished I would be invited to download a "fix" that would no doubt be a PC trojan and my computer (if it was running windows) would join another botnet

    Mac-oriented malware from Skype
The OP posted a Windows-oriented bogus message. I'm getting the following from Skype, titled sintsystmas1:

I assume this is bogus, and would appreciate advise as to whether I should install genuine security software on my Macs.

It's the exact same scam by the exact same folks - only now trying to scam $$ from those running OS X as well as Windows.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
