Basic graphic package needed for an Mac

Hi there

I have just bought my new Mac and need a graphics package that will do for designing business cards and flyers etc with nice graphics but that is relatively easy to use.

I have used both Corel draw and Illustrator but I am unsure what to use, I already use fireworks for my web images but need the same quality in print.

Please can you help me as the packages are costly and I don't want to buy something that won't do what I want or will be too complex.
