    Opening Excel files with other programs

    I'm a newbie to Macs.

    I have an ordering program designed on Excel that uses macros and I want to open and run it in OS Leopard but don't want to have to buy Office for Mac just to do it.

    Is it possible to do it with another product?

    At the moment I am having to run it on a windows partitiponed part of my drive.

    Give Neo Office a try

    Its the OS X port of open office

    It says it supports macros but test it out - it is open source and entirely free

    However, I now get a popup saying;
    BASIC syntax Error,
    unexpected symbol;

    It won't work the buttons on the program, the same message keeps popping up
