Hi guys,

I am curious as to why I can see one of my contacts display pictures who uses windows live msn. This is the only windows live contact on my list whose display picture I can view. I am currently running Mac msn 6.0.3 on leopard.

Afaik Mac msn 6.0.3 users could not view windows live msn contacts DPs. How can this be possible then? Is it because this user set the resolution correctly for the DP? (silly question)

SO yeah, if anyone here has had an experience like this and knows as to why this works, could you please tell me so my other windows contacts can get it to work with my iMac.

The screenshot below is of the windows live msn user whose DP I can view.

I have Amsn and Adium so please do not recommend these programs. Amsn's interface is buggy and has annoying drawbacks and I cannot chat to Yahoo contacts when using Adium.

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the DP only comes up if you talk to them.
