Hi

Has anyone successfully set osCommerce to work locally from their machine using MAMP?

I have set the database up to work, but cannot get the Database Server, Username and Password details correct for love nor money? The errors different between a problem with a mysql.sock file, and the incorrect database details.

Anyone had experience of doing this and got it working and can help out?

I think it's the 'Database Server' problem thats the main problem, as anything I put doesnt work, and I dont know if I have to alter any of the PHP files within the osCommerce package with the same details.
QUOTE Thanks
