Well not really, but I'm still mighty irritated by Bill and his evil update gang.
After I installed the update for Office, it redesignated my other WordPro (Abiword) to be the default for every .doc file not produced on my computer, so I can no longer just click on the document to open it. For some reason no matter where I look, I can't find how to reset Microsoft Word as my default. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks |

Highlight a Word document you have
click "File" on the top menu bar Click "Get info" and go to the tab "Open with" In the drop menu, select the program you want to open the Word file with and click "Change all" button below. There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. There are two types of IT problems in the world. PEBKAC and ID 10 T's. |

Read the post again - you don't do it for all files, you click the Change All button.
