Lewd Pop Ups issue need help

Hi

my gf have a mac and she is having a issue with this porn pop ups started from no where ?

can anyone suggest what should i do to fix this issue need some urgent help

click on safari in the toolbar, then click empty cache. click safari again and then click reset sfari. this should clear everything out of safari.

Mac Specs: 20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.

And make sure you have the block pop-ups tab selected.
Alternatively use Firefox, which does a better job of blocking these things.

Block popups is in preferences > security

works for non porn pop-ups as well

You know I used to get those on my old white iMac. I didn't start getting them until I installed acquisition. When I removed acquisition, the porn pop ups stopped.

Do you have acquisition installed?
