Let's say that I was using IMAP with my gmail account in Mail.app. Would it save each new mail that comes in after checking for new mail? So what I'm saying is would I be able to view the mails even if I'm offline? I know this didn'T work for me in Thunderbird on my Windows PC, so I was wondering if this is the same in Mail.app...

Do you mean... If you're not connected to the internet, would you still be able to read your messages in your inbox?

Mac users swear by their computers. PC users swear at their computers.
