Need some sort of Journaling software

I need to keep a Journal for some personal reasons and need to keep it away from prying eyes so it needs to be password protected. Is there any software for OSX that is free that will give me that capablity?? I could just use Word or something but then id have to lock the entire computer every time im done with it and that would be a pain in the butt!

I've used a couple, but my favorite is Journler. It's a great way to keep a journal and also offers the security you're looking for.

I also use Journler. It works extremely well. I tried Aquaminds and Circus Ponies note takers and didn't like the as much as I like Journler.
