Anyone used their Mac for Monte Carlo work? If so what specs were you running and what codes?

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/mo...&mode=feedback is that what you're talking about, its the only thing I could find that had to do with both macs and monte carlo. A little more information would better help us to answer.

Not quite - would be using codes like GEANT4 (physics based). I already know a little about running these codes on a mac, but I was wondering if anyone had experience of them and how quick they ran either in OS X or when using virtualisation software.
