Anyone used their Mac for Monte Carlo work? If so what specs were you running and what codes?

Mac Specs: Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.

Not quite - would be using codes like GEANT4 (physics based). I already know a little about running these codes on a mac, but I was wondering if anyone had experience of them and how quick they ran either in OS X or when using virtualisation software.
