I downloaded this app and when I installed it I had to restart my mac... it made huge noise and took quite a while to boot up again and now all i have is the .dmg of the app... no new app in my applications and when I spotlight Crystal Clear nothing comes up except the .dmg... i deleted the dmg and now sometimes windows in the background are transparent... how do i get rid of this?!

Try looking for an application called ShapeShifter. From what I can tell, Crystal Clear is just a theme for ShapeShifter and all changes must be made there. Good luck!

when you install crystal clear theres some other app that gets installed to clear the back windows. Go back to the website for crystal clear and find out the name of that app and spotlight that.
As for Crystal Clear itself, you need ShapShifter for it to work properly |

What's making your windows transparent is something called 'SetAlphaValue' which the Crystal Clear GUIkit installed onto your system. The author included uninstallation instructions in the readme
