are there any free dvd-rom emulator programs?

hi, im looking for a free cd/dvd-rom emulator for my powerbook. i have the program called daemon tools on my windows machine but im finding it quite hard to find an emulator for a mac machine. can anyone help me out?

On Windows, I used to use VirtualDrive - is this the type of thing you're referring to? If so, be aware that you can create disc images with Disk Utility, then mount them as though they were physical media just by double-clicking them. This capability is built-into Mac OS X, you really don't need a special software package to do this as you would on Windows.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
