Adium/msn will not work in school - mac only...

does anyone know how come adium or msn will not work at my school? its only on the macbook that will not work. It works fine on PC laptops... why is that? Anyway to get it to work?

Mmm you'll prolly have to be a bit more specific about it... like, Adium/Msn work @ home or anywhere else, but not @ school? Are you sure you connect to the internet at school? You can browse and all?

yes my adium/msn works at home, but when i connect it to school's internet it will not work.. I can browse the internet or use web msn fine... but when it comes to adium/msn on the computer it won't work

Sounds like the school has a block on MSN to stop you naughty students from just chatting at school and trying to make you do some school work instead.

Does iChat/Yahoo/AIM work with Adium at school or are they blocked as well?
