Depends on which license you buy. If you get the Single User at $79, then obviously you can only install it on a single computer. If you get the Family Pack for $99, then you can install it on up to 5 computers.

For starters, it's illegal. Secondly, iWork comes with a serial number. So unless you're some sort of genius who can figure out how iWork serial keys work, you would have some trouble installing it on a second computer.

Transferring a license is perfectly legal as long as you remove the software from the previous computer. The point is that you can only have a single license installed on a single machine at any given time. There's nothing preventing you from taking that same license and moving it to another computer. But like I said, the caveat is that you can't keep a copy on your old computer.
If you're asking about the physical possibility of running a single license on multiple computers, I can't help you as that would be condoning an illegal act, which is against forum rules to discuss. $99 for using only 2 out of the 5 licenses isn't a bad deal. Definitely beats having to buy the same software twice at the full price of $79 ![]() June 2007 July 2009 |

I really like Apple's Family Pack deals. 5 licenses for an additional nowhere near the price of another full license? You can't beat that. Microsoft could learn a thing or two about good deals on multiple licenses
