I recently installed iLife 08 and in so doing it said it couldn't find the domain file that I was using to maintain my webpage.

I used a backup I had made that I kept on idisk but this back up was very old and did not include all the recent work I did, which was a lot.

Now the recent work I did is currently on my .mac page and the version of the domain I have is older.

Is there a way that I can download the information off my .mac account so I can continue editing it with iWeb?

Well, you can get the raw content. However iWeb store your files in a different format than it exports them to the web in.

To access your raw content, just open up your iDisk (if you're in the Finder, Command+Shift+I will open it up for you) and navigate to "Web> Sites> 'Yoursitename'" and copy that entire folder back to your harddrive.

You'll then have to manually copy the bits & pieces back into a new iWeb site.
