I have a 1.1gig dv file that I tried to attach to an email using Mail. If I just dragged the file over to the email I created I get an error that the application has closed and report it to Apple. If I try to attach via the attachment bar I see the spinning ball then I see IDisk arrows going around then stop. Nothing is in the email. I don't use IDisk. I tried to stuffit thinking that my ISP would not allow attachment over 1 gig and I got it to 890 mb but the same thing has happened. I can send a JPEG or document with no problem.

Are you seriously attempting to attach an item that is 1.1Gb? That's what ftp is for.
