Firefox has slowed down

It seemed to happen after the last OSX update (but that might not be related at all). Seems to work in a "jerky" fashion. Switched over to try Safari and it flies thru the pages. Anyone else experiencing this problem??

Try clearing cache and removing add-ons (plug-ins, extensions, themes etc) tat you don't need.

Ya, I got Firefox and then got rid of it right away. It seemed to not even go half the speed of others. I thought it was strange because of all the talk of it being faster
