leopard imovie features sneaking into tiger?

so i was just goofing around on imovie when it started to act really weird, i could all of a sudden see through the place where the video shows up, when i recorded something it was fine, but after i hit stop recording it went back to it. i restarted imovie and it was fine, but i thought it was worth a screenshot at the time. the mario stuff is my desktop background, and i dragged an amsn convo behind it to show you better, if you look close, you can see my face.

this really reminded me of the starwars like hologram shown at the wwdc keynote

I think it's a glitch that involves the way the video card composites layers of video information on the screen. Sort of like what happens when the weather guy wears a blue tie in front of the blue-screen weather map.
