Hey everyone

I would love to change the look of my macbook, but with the amount of problems it caused when i tried to change themes on my windoze machine, im slightly cautious about trying it.

Ive seen shapeshifter 2.4 is universal and ive seen its name mentioned a fair amount throughout the forums, so my question is, is it entirely save to use?

I just want to change the look of the menu bar and finder windows etc, ive already got a haxie to change the dock though

Yeah, it's fine.

You might experience a glitch or two with certain apps (theme not showing), but just add those to the 'exclude' list and you'll be fine.

Plus if you do decide you don't want it, it can be removed / deactivated with no problems.

I installed Shapeshifter and WindowShade on my MBP about 2 weeks into it. Over 6 months now and has been trouble free.

Shapeshifter places an icon in System Preferences. Open it up and it has a download tab where you can explore all the different themes available and download / apply the ones you want.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
