Is there a way to run Windows Media on my iMac?

OK, I just got a 24" iMac today and one of the websites that I reguarly vistit used WMV files, is there a way to play these files via iTunes or Quicktime?

Alright, I have downloaded a HUGE amout of videos and they download in wmv format, now that I have my iMac is there a way to convert it over to play in Quicktime?

where did you DL them from? they proabably are illegally downloaded... Im not giving feedback to a electronic pirate!!!



just kidding actually, in all seriousness, I think VLC is the best player for all media types, but there is a program/plugin for quicktime that pretty much covers all of them, i just forget the name (something with a swiss army knife... hopefully someone else can chime in....)

I don't think VLC is all that hot. Especially when Flip4Mac and Perian allow you to play all the formats right in Quicktime.

On top of that, I've found VLC's WMV support to be a little less than desired.
