mail wont get my email !?

When i open mail it opens fine and then will not load any messages read or unread. i have tried restarting. mail just crashes when i open it ?

any ideas ?

Checked the folder where the mails are supposed to be? Mine are at "Users/<username>/Library/Mail/Mailboxes".

I could imagine that this has been moved or you don't have rights to access it for some reason. Did you use something to clean up or repair your mac?

all the folders are there. I have used onyx from time to time but has never corrupted mail before.

any more ideas ? i may ring apple later as i have apple care.

i phoned apple support and fixed the problem. i had to backup my mail folder from to library onto the desktop and move the .plist file onto the desktop.
