I just bought a new MBP this week and am transferred the Pictures directory from my old MBP to the new one, simply copying over. I figured that's all my data (photos). Well then I tried to open iPhoto. It does find all my photos since I can see it counting them at first but then it gets to the prompt where it asks if I want to import pictures using iPhoto from my digital camera. At that time it simply crashes with a prompt to reopen or send info. to Apple. if I choose reopen it does the same thing again.
I even copied my actual iPhoto folder after this over to the new MBP but still have the same problem. Any idea what's causing this? Is it possible for me to simply remove and reinstall the program? |
