safari is the best way to go, but this is in the wrong area. should be in software, apps, and what not. you could also check out camino, it's like firefox but made specifically for mac.

If you're more interested in finding the underlying cause, I would recommend trying Onyx and running the maintenance and optimization tasks. In addition, check to make sure that Firefox isn't looking for a proxy server. This is done by going into the Firefox menu, clicking Preferences, Advanced button, Network tab, Settings button, make sure "Auto-detect proxy settings" is not checked. Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |
