MSN Messanger Update Problem

I have an old version of messanger on my MacBook Pro (OS X) and every time it asks me to update it downloads the update file but then it just disappers and a file called Messanger.bin appears on the Desktop and Roxio Toast Titanium opens, this happens every time i try to update MSN. What is the problem? Thank you very much, Tim |
