Ok, Well I want to start converting some of my rare records (no comments on my age, and if you don't know what a record is, no I am not a convict)

What program do people use to record their old albums, and capture that great crackling age old sound vinyl.

Thanks

"Death to Toasters" - John Connor

"All Hail the Power of Bauer"

I have downloaded it, but have not had time to use it yet - try Final Vinyl.

i don't do the transfering, but i had some vinyl tracks in my itunes, (i'm actually only 18 lol, but i like some old stuff)... then I used soundtrack pro from final cut studio to repair the audio and make it sound less like it came from vinyl and more crisp and clear.... you may want to find a program similar that doesn't include the video apps for that... if you care about the crackling.
