"mrw" files?
Don't use military jargon when speaking to the civilians; clarify what mrw is.
If it's a proprietary, closed format, you're probably stuck using the application that created them.

Xnview
is a free app that covers a LOT of image formats. "mrw" is not one of them.

its a sony minolta raw file. Photoshop CS2 has raw support for mrw and iPhoto has support for several minolta and sony cameras raw files

If yours is on the list you can import to iPhoto, and export them all at once to whatever format you want

Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System
