Hi everyone-
I know it's weird, but I don't really like Adium and just prefer the old AIM software that's officially from AOL. As outdated as it may be, it replicates what I used to have on windows, and I miss that. however, whenever I use it for more than 5 minutes (especially when i'm in a conversation), it randomly quits and I get the error message "the application AIM quit unexpectedly". I know this is a common problem, and I was wondering if there was any way to fix this, or find out what triggers it? Thanks! |

What about iChat?
That connects to AIM's network, no? (I don't use AIM, so I'm not much of an expert on this.) Cog 0.07 audio player - cogx.org AAC, AIFF, APE, FLAC, M4A, MP3, MPC, OGG, SHN, WAV, WV, tracker formats, VG music formats, cue sheets, M3U & PLS, Growl, Last.fm, Apple Remote Latest Nightly Build (0.08) (new interface!) - Got ideas? On a side note, I would advise against rationales like this: Quote:

AIM is more than likely crashing because you are bumping the scrollball any direction but perfectly up or down. AOL didn't take into consideration the ability to scroll sideways, thus causing AIM to crash when it occurs. Perfect example of sloppy coding. |
