Why is that when I try to open up MSN messenger, it tells me that there is a newer version that I have to download in order to use the program, and when I click on download, it says that it is downloading the program and then all I get is a 'messnger bin' icon on my desktop. Why isn't it working?

Firstly I'd ensure that you have the Mac version of the update.
After downloading a .bin, .sit, .sit.hqx, or .sea.hqx file, you can use StuffIt Expander or another utility to access the file's contents. StuffIt Expander is a free utility for accessing the contents of .bin, .sit, .sit.hqx, and .sea.hqx files. If after double-clicking on the .bin file, nothing happens ... then you need to download Stuffit Expander to decompress the file for you. |
