Adobe Audition equivalent?

I switched over from PC a while back but I was saddened to find that Audition, an audio editor i have used since i was 5 years old and it was called Cool Edit, is not available for Mac.

Is there any good equivalent? I've tried the Adobe Soundbooth beta but it just doesn't seem to be quite as good.

I know of:

Logic Pro
Reason
Pro Tools

If you go here and hear this kids music, he uses all of these and makes some pretty good music too.

PlayRadioPlay

I have tried to use Pro Tools and I found it difficult to install because there is no "Easy Install" it is only Custom.
