Motion 2.0.1 shuts down as sson as I open it.

I just got a new intel imac 20'' 2.16 OSX 10.4.9 I installed final cut studio and everything open fine except Motion. It will shut down as soon as i open it. It is not a universal version so I don't know if that anything to do with it.

Can anyone help?

i'd delete caches and preferences and then permissions repair

run software update... i had the same problem when i bought my quad, it was a problem with the graphics card not being compatible with motion so they set me up with an update and it worked.
