I heard its possible to run wolfenstein 3d (the original) on mac with dosbox, is this true?

Yes, this is true if you don't mind using the PC version. Also DosBox requires a fairly fast machine, it struggled on my G4 iBook. I haven't tried this on my MacBook yet, but it doesn't solve my predicament: I prefer the Macintosh version for it's higher resolution. I'm currently trying to figure out how to port it.
