DVD copy problemshey guys, alot of the new movies I bought I'm having a hard time creating backups of (like Casino Royal).... mac the ripper keeps giving me errors in the detection process. It says unknown file type as the error. I think it's the ones that have .exe files in the DVDs main folder??? the origionals play fine using DVD player tho...
any help?Drive fast, Drive exotic, Take Photos.

New Sony DVDs have new technology that really mess with mactheripper, handbrake, and mediafork. hopefully, the next version of mactheripper will fix this, but it's in beta now i think.

I cant use handbrake to rip a video_TS folder tho.... I want to have quality DVD backups that I can take on camping trips, and buisness flightsand use on my portable DVD player without worrying about ruinning or losing the DVD.... any other apps like MTR that is as easy to use I can do this with?

I had a problem trying to make a copy of Casino Royal (all Sony films now have this protection on). In the end I had to reboot into XP and use ripit4me with dvdycriptor and DVD shrink (took a while - has to insert fake bad sectors) to get a copy. I searched all over but couldn't find anything for Mac to unfotunetly.
