Help with move from PC to MAC - odd apps
I often used a usenet NNTP newsreader called Newsbin Pro on my pc. Just got a MacBook Pro and trying to get use to things. I have it running on Parallels but wondering if there is anything like it for Mac. I also used WinRar and QuickPar on the PC - is there an equivalent on a Mac?

    Welcome to Mac Forums osting!!!

Re NNTP, the Thunderbird email client includes a nice NNTP client. I am sure many other email clients do as well, but I use Thunderbird, so I know about it.

I find these are indispensible tools in my arsenal:
    The Unarchiver
    MacPar for Par files.
    Split & Concat
