I occasionally check the Flash plugin's global security settings, and the thought occurred that not many people might know about them or how to set them. The controls are weird, to say the least.

The settings can be adjusted only through the Settings Manager, from a web page. This link is to the explanation. There's a link on that page to the controls. The image on the controls page is not a jpg or gif, but the real thing. The Setting Manager's web-page controls are linked to the computer's Flash installation.

If you want to skip the explanation, scroll down to Global Privacy Settings panel.

Don't forget that if you want to change the settings and are running Windows on an Intel Mac or System 9 as well as X, you'll have to do it in each system.
QUOTE Thanks
