The notebook template is actually almost a sperate app, also known as Office OneNote on Windows machines.

I'm a bit confused as to what you're referring to when you say Word X as opposed to Word 2004. Are you talking about Windows versions?

Microsoft word v.X

This is Office 2004

This is Office v.X

In Word 2004, for mac, under view you can choose the notebook layout as apposed to: normal, online layout, ect... but you Word v.X doesn't seem to have this layout. I'm sure its built into Word not a separate app because it's just a layout. Thanks!
