problems installing starcraft

my friends and i got back into starcraft recently and i played before on a pc. im off to college now and using a macbook with osx 10.4.8. im having problem s trying to install starcraft. i dloaded the patch from blizzard for installing and when it says insert the starcraft cd, my macbook just spits it back out. how do i install it to play? thanks.
