Disk Permissions problem with Reason 3.0.5

I'm trying to install the newer reason for intel mac's on my macbookpro but i get the disk permissions error so i go into utilities and disk utility and click repair disk permissions, tried again, nothing tried clickin verify disk permissions, repair disk permissions, nothing then when I click on repair Disk it takes a while then in like 20 second my computer just tottaly freezes

any suggestions??

Are you trying to install from an account that has administrator priveledges? This could be a source of the problems.
